The World Bank game is the current game i am working on the Games World Programming module. It is a group assignment, the other people working on the project include Artur Saudabayev from DT211/4 and Brian Doyle and Stephen Hanaran from DT211/4. The aim of the game is to help prevent global poverty. It is a strategy game. The player is put in a position where they are the chief executive of the world bank. The player is presented with a view of Earth and they must control the finances of the various countries. During the game natural disasters, wars and corrupt governments will determine the finances of the countries and the player must give loans or take from countries accordingly.

The first part of the semester involved setting up the game world. We decided to split the project into different workloads. Me and Artur worked on uploading the model and getting it to spin. Brian worked on the menu’s and Stephen to work on Ray Tracing. These are not intended to be strict guidelines. The second semester will involve implementing A.I into the game.
ToothKInd is a game i developed in third year as part of my final year project.
The aim of this project was to design an XNA game for children to help them learn about oral hygiene. In the game a set of teeth will eat and build up acid that would attach to the enamel, bacteria will infect gums if left too long without cleaning. The teeth would rot and gum disease would happen. To counter this, the user will have to brush the teeth. They also have only two minutes to brush the teeth and use the proper brushing technique. Research into Oral Hygiene and the various technologies was the first step. Then a design was developed. After design the project was implemented, tested and evaluated.
The game was a simple 2D game with simple graphics.
The gameplay: The player moves a toothbrush with the mouse. The player then clicks on the bacteria to kill them. The player has two minutes to destroy as many bacteria as they can.
